You need quality industrial components which means you have to source them from a quality supplier.If you’re doing the sourcing yourself, you’ve to identify a supplier/s who are known to provide a variety of PCB components.The suppliers should be able to offer components that are both quality and affordable.Most importantly, they should be compliant with all the industry rules and regulations.The same applies to if you’re letting your manufacturer do the sourcing. In this case, recommend trusted suppliers to them.

4.Budget

Cost is a driving influence behind PCB components sourcing.So it’s good to understand the cost adders when sourcing for industrial PCB components.

Additional layers, extra thick or thin boards, vias-in-pad, back-filled vias (non-conductive preferred due to conductivity limitations and thermal expansion differences), blind/buried vias, and lead time all substantially add to the overall cost.
