PCB Assembly Guideline-FIDUCIALS

The Pick & Place machine and the Solder Paste Printer use fiducial targets to locate the panel and determine the orientation. For this, there must be at least 3 fiducials on the panel frame.

If there are multiple boards on one panel, each individual PCB should include its own local fiducials to allow even better registration accuracy in the assembly process.
Fiducials are targets that are etched in the copper layer of every board. Hopetimepcb standard fiducials and tooling holes are automatically included in the panel border.
